AGREEMENT TO TERMS

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Ruthvik Upputuri (“Owner,” “I,” “me,” or “my”) regarding your access to and use of upputuri.in and all its subdomains (collectively, the “Sites”), which provide a personal portfolio, business research white-papers, cooking blog, investment tools, homelab projects, knowledge hub, and personal experiments.

By accessing or using any of the Sites, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.

1. SCOPE OF THESE TERMS

These Terms apply to all websites, subdomains, pages, features, and services operated by Ruthvik Upputuri under the domain(s) upputuri.in and all its subdomains. Content, features, and purposes may vary across Sites, but these Terms govern access to all of them unless a specific Site displays its own separate terms.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content on the Sites – including but not limited to text, articles, code, graphics, photographs, logos, designs, and data compilations – is the exclusive property of Ruthvik Upputuri or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any material from the Sites without the prior written consent of Ruthvik Upputuri, except that you may:

Print or download a single copy of pages for your own personal, non-commercial use.
Share links to the Sites on social media or other platforms.

3. USER-GENERATED CONTENT & SUBMISSIONS

By submitting information through contact forms, feedback modules, or other communication tools on the Sites, you acknowledge and agree that:

License Grant: You grant Ruthvik Upputuri a non-exclusive, worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free license to store, review, and use your submission for the purpose of responding to your inquiry or improving the Sites.
Ownership: You retain ownership of any original content you submit, but you represent that you have the right to provide such content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.
Retention: PII (such as name and email) will be deleted upon a verified request. Non-PII content (such as message body and feedback text) is retained indefinitely for archival and reference purposes. Contact me at [email protected] to submit a deletion request.

4. DMCA & COPYRIGHT COMPLAINTS

I respect the intellectual property of others. If you believe that any material on the Sites infringes upon any copyright which you own or control, please notify me at [email protected]. Your notification should include:

Your contact information.

5. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree to use the Sites only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of any third party. You must not:

Use the Sites in any way that violates any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation.

THE SITES AND THEIR CONTENT ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Ruthvik Upputuri does not warrant that:

The Sites will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
The information on the Sites is complete, accurate, or current.
Any defects in the Sites will be corrected.

Information provided on the Sites is for general informational purposes only. Nothing on the Sites constitutes professional, legal, financial, medical, or investment advice. Business research white-papers are provided strictly for informational and high-level decision-making purposes only.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, RUTHVIK UPPUTURI SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITES, EVEN IF RUTHVIK UPPUTURI HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

IN NO EVENT SHALL RUTHVIK UPPUTURI’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SITES EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

8. SITE AVAILABILITY & MODIFICATIONS

I reserve the right to update, modify, or discontinue any part of the Sites, including features, white-papers, or tools, at any time without prior notice. I shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of the Sites.

I also reserve the right to revise and update these Terms at any time at my sole discretion. All changes are effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the Sites following the posting of revised Terms means you accept and agree to the changes.

9. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ruthvik Upputuri from and against any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney’s fees) arising from:

Your use of and access to the Sites.
Your violation of any term of these Terms.
Your violation of any third-party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right.

10. THIRD-PARTY LINKS AND SERVICES

The Sites may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Ruthvik Upputuri. Ruthvik Upputuri has no control over, and assumes no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites.

Certain UI features use third-party geolocation APIs; your IP address may be transmitted to these services solely to display a location prefix in the UI and is not stored or sold by me.

Affiliate Disclosure: Some links on the Sites may be affiliate links, meaning Ruthvik Upputuri may earn a commission if you make a purchase through such links, at no additional cost to you. All affiliate relationships are disclosed in accordance with applicable FTC guidelines.

11. PRIVACY

Your use of the Sites is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

12. TERMINATION

Ruthvik Upputuri reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to any of the Sites at any time, without notice, for conduct that Ruthvik Upputuri believes violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, Ruthvik Upputuri, third parties, or the reputation of the Sites.

13. INTERNATIONAL USERS

The Sites are controlled and operated from the United States. If you access the Sites from outside the U.S., you are responsible for compliance with all local laws. I make no representation that the content on the Sites is appropriate or available for use in other locations.

14. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law, such unenforceability or invalidity shall not render these Terms unenforceable or invalid as a whole, and such provisions shall be deleted without affecting the remaining provisions herein.

15. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to the Sites shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States for the resolution of any disputes.

Ruthvik Upputuri (“I,” “me,” or “my”) operates upputuri.in and all its subdomains (the “Sites”). This Privacy Policy describes how I collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your personal information when you visit or use any of the Sites.

I believe in radical transparency and data minimization. I may collect the following categories of personal information:

Form submissions: When you use the contact or feedback forms, I collect the information you provide (e.g., name, email, message). This data is used solely for communication and reference.
Geolocation Data: Certain UI elements use third-party APIs to display your approximate location (e.g., in the footer). Your IP address is processed by these third-party services to generate this display. I do not store or track your IP address in my own application databases, though it may be processed at the infrastructure level by Cloudflare as part of normal CDN and security operations.

I may also collect non-personal technical data automatically, including browser type and version, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and time and date of visits.

3. COOKIES & TRACKING

I do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or persistent identifiers to follow your behavior across the web.

For analytics, I use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, beacon-based analytics service. This provides high-level website performance data (such as page views and browser types) without using cookies or collecting personally identifiable information (PII).

Essential, functional cookies may be used where strictly necessary for site operation (e.g., security tokens). No analytics or advertising cookies are set.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Sites.

4. HOW I USE YOUR INFORMATION

I use the information I collect to:

Operate, maintain, and improve the Sites.
Respond to your inquiries and communications.
Send administrative information such as updates or changes to our policies.
Monitor and analyze usage and trends to improve the user experience.
